11月17日 presentation eveningJust a reminder that tonight there is no club meeting, these have now finished for the season with meetings starting again on 12th of january
PRESENTATION EVENING:
our presentation evening is on 29th November at Hawkstone, if you have not booked and paid for your tickets by now, or spoken to one of the committe your places have now been given away.
the event starts at 7-7:30, the meal is at 8pm, prompt arrival is needed please as we have a lot to get through.
there is a dress code of smart dress only, NO JEANS/TRAINERS

All the Junior classes are full, MX2 Seniors are also full, there are limited places in MX1 Seniors, Inters, and both Expert classes.

10月8日 Tunstall Hall 19th OctoberThe next meeting at Tunstall Hall will have trophies down to 5th in all classes apart from the Inter Juniors, who will have trophies down to 10th as usual and medals for all Inters who take part in the event.
There have been a few changes to the track, the whoops have had some small alterations, at present 90% of the track is dry, the old start straight is a bit wet but we will cut that section out if needed as it is only a small part of the track.
We have decided not to run the track in the opposite direction, this is something we will consider for next season.
For this meeting, due to problems we have experianced with camping we have decided to enforce the following ground rules at this, and at future events:
Generators off by 10:30
No noise after 10:30
Children, including teenagers, to be back at their vans/tents by 10:00pm
Dogs on leads AT ALL TIMES
If someone from the club has to speak to someone about breaking these rules and the behaviour continues the offender will be banned from riding on Sunday, remember as riders you are responsible for anyone you bring with you to camp, so if one of your guests break the rules it will be you that is penalised.
We know this sounds a bit grumpy BUT as a club we do not wish to loose Tunstall as a venue due to camping issues, nor do we feel it is fair that people who are preparing to race/work for the day to run a meeting should be disturbed late at night.
9月29日 Tonights Club MeetingA reminder to members that tonights club meeting is at Tunstall Hall Track and not at the club, we will be doing some work to prepare the track before our meeting in August. If people could arrive before 6pm it would be a great help as it is dark by 7:30

9月5日 BABELL THIS WEEKEND IS CANCELLEDJust to let everyone know that this weekends meeting is cancelled at Babell, you may ride out of group if you wish, however there are only three meetings running within the AMCA this weekend.

8月21日 Club meeting and other stuff!!Firstly an announcement that NorthShropshire MX club is now renamed as WEM MX CLUB! as voted for at club two weeks ago.. thanks to Phill Brown for the new club logo.
This weekends racing is at Saron. Chester club have been working hard over the last few weeks to alter the track and have added an extra section.
At Tunstall Hall next weekend the club will be trialling the new wristband system which will be in force next year thoughout the AMCA. This means thats you must bring your licence to sign on and you must sign on yourself NO LICENCE, NO SIGN ON, NO RIDE!!!!! wristbands must be worn all day, someone will be checking that you are wearing it on the start, if you are not wearing it you will not be allowed to take your place on the start and may be not able to race.
A reminder to Wem club members that club will be Tuesday this week due to the bank holiday!
7月15日 Tunstall Hall meeting a successMany thanks to all members of the club who attended the meeting and completed their marshal duties/jobs, feedback from the meeting so far has been excellent.
Also many thanks to the members who attended the work party on the Saturday before the meeting, apologies as this party was under attended for various reasons.
Group meeting is this evening at the Raven Hotel at 8:30 for anyone who wishes to attend.

6月26日 Tunstall Hall this weekendWork has been ongoing at the track this week leading up to the meeting this weekend. Three extra ski jumps have been added to some of the long straights, soil has been moved to some of the built up areas, jumps have been refaced and the track has been graded.
At present the track is very dry but watering will commence Saturday night for three hours and then Sunday before racing if needed.
We have 230 riders booked in to ride with the entries coming in thick and fast the event should be pretty full, club members need to be on site for around 7AM, marshals will be called at 8:15 briefing is at 8:30 and marshals should be on their points for 8:45.

6月11日 Tunstall HallThe next meeting at Tunstall Hall is the Tony Johnson Memorial meeting. The trophy is awarded to the highest point scorer of the meeting who is a member of Northshropshire club.
This meeting is kindly being sponsored by Paul Stevens of Respol Industrial Flooring their website is www.industrialflooring.co.uk Trophies are up to 10th positon for inter juniors as usual
The track looks very good, we will be watering the night before and early Sunday if the weather doesnt give us any rain leading up to the meeting, the next work party is on 28th June, names are on the website file as usual.

Club Night ReminderReminder to all club members that clube will be on Tuesday next week not Monday as it is a bank holiday
The next motocross meeting is at Wirral this weekend, its a two day event run over the Sunday and Monday, the clubhave improved the track by adding a whoops section, changing the ski jumps to tabletops and widening some of the sections.
The track has been fully graded in preparation for the meeting. 5月2日 Tunstall Hall UpdateThe paddock and track are at this point, perfect for the weekend, showers are expected over Saturday and Sunday but hopefully the sunshine over the last few days has done its job to dry the paddock enough to take this extra rain.

4月30日 Tunstall Hall Weather report!!!!Despite the rain over the last few hours the track and paddock are still looking good at Tunstall Hall, the weather is going to be warmer and drier over the next few days, which should make conditons perfect on Sunday. 4月29日 club meeting next week, and other stuffReminder to club members that our club night will be on TUESDAY not Monday as it is a bank holiday
Tim has visited the track over the weekend, the track is in excellent condition, the paddock remains a little wet, so long as the weather isnt too bad over the next few days it should hopefully be fine, extra stone is being laid at the gate and the taram is being put onto the paddock to assist with keeping the moisture down, what is really needed is a couple of dry days to complete the drying of the field so fingers crossed. In the morning the plan is to get people onto the field as quicky as possible and give out programmes at signing on instead of at the gate to minimise traffic during the 45 minute window when everyone arrives at once. A tractor will be available to tow vehicles onto the field if needed.
There is a work party at the track on Saturday, names are on the list in the links section at the bottom of this page, work starts at 9am main items to be completed are setting out the start gate and roping the paddocks.

NSMX 4月22日 Bangor on Dee 27th AprilAfter speaking to Christine from Oswestry MCC today I have found out that Bangor on Dee is still being run unless the weather deteriorates over the next few days. The track was drying well although there was some surface water around but the banks on the track are dry. The club has struggled to get machinery on the track to do any work so far due to it being so wet but they are planning to do this over the next few days.
I have spoken to the AMCA and Newport club about out of group entries IF Bangor is cancelled, I have been told that we WILL NOT be allowed to ride at Long Lane if our meeting is off and we will probably be redirected to our reserve group which I believe is Burntwood@Branston in the South Staffs group.
Further updates to come.. as soon as I know anything further I will post it here on the site.
